Both the annual and decadal graphs show a decreasing trend in the number of these days when the minimum temperature falls below freezing point. This trend is particularly pronounced in the last analyzed decade of 2011–2020.
All 5 years with the highest average number of frost days occurred prior to the year 2000. In contrast, all the 5 years with the lowest number of such days occurred after the year 2000. The long-term trend over this 60-year period shows a decrease, of on average 4.7 days per decade.
